NARI Selects Local Member for Three Regional CotY Awards

Published on March 05, 2024

Greater Dayton Building and Remodeling has been selected as winners of two 2015 Regional CotY awards and a tie. Continuing their tradition of outstanding work in the commercial market, Greater Dayton won again in the 2015 Commercial Specialty category for their work on the White Allen European Auto Group dealership. This 15 year old facility was required to undergo a freshening to comply with the manufacturer's revised branding programs that include a new image for their brands. A new 1,100 sq ft addition was added to almost 15,000 sq ft of renovations taking place to allow White Allen to comply with the new image programs of two of their product manufacturers. Separate spaces inside allow for independent identity of the brands, which the additional space provided. Newly updated vehicle service areas for brand aesthetics, increased efficiency and improved customer service were also achieved with this remake. All in all, another great commercial project for the great team at Greater Dayton Building and Remodeling.

Greater Dayton Building and Remodeling was also recognized for a tie in the Commercial Exterior category in Region 4.

On the residential side, a near catastrophe for a Kettering homeowner turned into a newly remodeled dream bath from the folks at Greater Dayton Building and Remodeling. The brutal winter of 2013 into 2014 caused a frozen pipe to burst in the attic of the resident causing significant damage to the bathroom in their home. After making the decision to modernize versus replace existing, the design team took over and made the owners’ wish list a reality. A new open shower and larger tub was integrated, a new make-up vanity area and luxury finishes to complement the space were all added. The transformation was nothing short of dramatic and earns Greater Dayton Building and Remodeling the Region 4 award for Residential Bath in the $25,000 to $50,000 category. Both awards will compete for National honors to be announced at the NARI Spring Business Meeting and Evening of Excellence on April 15-18 in Ft Lauderdale, FL.
