The results of the Commissioners meeting is that there will be no State of Emergency declared in Warren County, that said, the building the department will remain open and try to continue to provide all needed services.

We also are recommending all building/electrical submittals be emailed in to me(Jerry.Spurling@co.warren.oh.usthey will be processed, a letter mailed or email sent saying plans are ready and how much is owed. For time being I will accept the the bare minimum for plans, this to include the (application, foundation, first floor, second floor plans) // (4-5 pages max.).

The payment must be either credit card, mailed, or via FedEx to our office then we will email plans back to the applicant.

No interruption in building inspections, except, we do not want interactions with anyone one job site if possible. The inspectors are still in the office for 1 hour between 8:00-9:00 a.m. to discuss inspection and or results, (which are also online after 5:00 pm).

We have contacted most HVAC companies explaining we will not enter “occupied” homes to check furnace replacements and finished basements. We will accept for time being pictures of installation as long as we can see the venting etc.
