The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) announced the National CotY (Contractor of the Year)Winners in the 2017 competition, of which one is a member of the Miami Valley Chapter based in Dayton area.

Contractors from seven regions around the country vie for CotY Awards on an annual basis. Earlier this year, NARI named 172 Regional CotYwinners with 27 team members who advanced as finalists to the national level. NARI announced a National winner in each of the 37 categories at its Evening of ExcellenceSM reception, held recently in Scottsdale, Arizona.  The competition received nearly 400 entries, which totaled over $103 million worth of remodeling projects.

Please join as as we congratulate 2017 Chapter President Matt Jones and the entire staff Greater Dayton Building and Remodeling for this most prestigious honor. Greater Dayton Building and Remodeling won for their beautiful entry in the category of Commercial Specialty.

All projects submitted for judging were an improvement or an addition to an existing structure, with the exception of the Residential Detached Structure category. New construction projects were not eligible.

The CotY Awards program also recognized projects with universal design elements through the Universal Design Project Recognition Program. To be considered for a CotY Award, a company must be a NARI member in good standing.  The full list of 2017 CotY Award Winners is available here
